Cybersecurity Consultant

Looking to join an incredibly interesting and important Government organisation? We are working with a premier government agency that is looking to add a Cybersecurity Consultant.
- Start next week (for 12 months)
- Technical and governance dual focus
- Blacktown location
In this role you will be working on all various aspects of cyber security. You will be involved in technical oversight as well as governance requirements.
Responsibilities- Develop and implementation of cybersecurity program
- Risk assessment and vulnerability scanning
- Leading incident response activities
- Stakeholder engagement
- Compliance – Essential 8, PCI-DSS
- Regular reporting duties
- We are looking to speak with candidates that are IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE with:
- Cybersecurity Governance experience
- Strong technical skills
- Knowledge of PCI-DSS, Essential 8 etc
- Strong stakeholder management skills
On offer to the successful candidate will be a contract role starting immediately through to August 2026. Hourly rates will be based on your skills and experience approximately $100 per hour.
