API Business Analyst

MuleSoft API Business Analyst role.

  • Elicit, analyze and document business and technical requirements for APIs and integrations using MuleSoft. Collaborate with architects and developers to define integration strategies and interface designs.
  • Map existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation or integration. Prepare user stories, functional specifications and API documentation.
  • Support end-to-end delivery including testing, defect management and user acceptance. Conduct stakeholder workshops and present solution walkthroughs.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and governance standards.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in API/middleware integration projects.
  • Strong understanding of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API Manager and RAML/OpenAPI specifications.
  • Solid grasp of integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML and message queues.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and using tools like JIRA, Confluence and Visio.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, testing lifecycle and release management.
