Job Title:
Senior Cyber Security Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in supporting various cyber services within a well-established Cyber team. This role involves implementing information security requirements, policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
• Implementing information security requirements, policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures within a multidisciplinary team.
• Enhancing cyber maturity within the program.
• Evaluating process effectiveness and identifying improvement areas.
• Developing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Coordinating the Plan of Action & Milestones (POAM) and cyber risk reduction initiatives.
• Monitoring security compliance, assessing gaps, and responding to security incidents.
• Providing security design advice, recommending solutions to meet security objectives.
• Analyzing security incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
• Communicating security concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
• Building relationships supporting the program.
• Mentoring junior staff members.

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Qualifications or experience in cybersecurity.
• Experience with security risk management frameworks such as DSPF, ISM, ISO27001.
• Experience with Defence Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management tools, Windows and Linux cybersecurity, OT environments, and security procedures.
• Hold an NV1 security clearance with the ability to upgrade.
