Job Title: Data Migration Expert

Hastha Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Data Migration Expert to join our team in Sydney, Australia.

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with expertise in data migration projects, particularly in HR systems like Ceridian Dayforce or similar. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data migration methodologies, including proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, and data mapping.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks and challenges throughout the data migration lifecycle.
  • Facilitate detailed analysis and validation of both source and target systems.
  • Engage in detailed mapping workshops to ensure source-to-target mappings align with the Ceridian model for precise data integration.
  • Validate the accuracy and integrity of migrated data through comprehensive testing and reconciliation efforts.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for integration, performance, and mock conversions.
  • Oversee Dress Rehearsal activities to ensure a thorough validation process.
  • Assist with establishment and implementation of data quality standards based on initial data profiling and insights from SMEs.
  • Undertake remediation in source systems as required by data quality rules.
  • Help with identification of security requirements and compliance standards for data migration.
  • Support extraction of source data and cleansing of data to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Assist with development of a robust approach for executing, validating, and reporting the data migration process.
  • Design and develop interfaces for data ingestion and loading into target templates.
  • Prepare and execute unit test scripts, perform data reconciliation, and develop detailed reconciliation reports.
Requirements:
  • Australian/NZ Citizens/PR Holders only.
  • 6 Months contract with possible extension.
