About the Role

The Food and Beverage Assistant Manager will oversee the food and beverage outlet within the hotel, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as all operating procedures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and nurturing positive relationships with guests and colleagues
  • Creating and managing outlet rosters
  • Managing service through outlets and allocating sections
  • Conducting pre-service meetings
  • Ensuring all opening, handover, and closing checklists are complete
  • Communicating relevant guest information to staff and the kitchen
  • Daily administrative and reporting
  • Developing and maintaining service standards
  • Managing and ordering inventory
Qualifications

A successful candidate will have:

  • Supervisor experience
  • Experience in a similar environment
  • Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work with a flexible schedule, be a team player, and a dynamic leader
  • Good problem-solving, administrative, and interpersonal skills
  • A valid and current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
