Disability Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Melba Support Services. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
Key Responsibilities- Implement support plans based on the needs, preferences, and interests of our clients
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, household duties, and meal preparation
- Support clients to participate in activities, such as social events, work, and appointments
- Promote personal choice and control for our clients
- Administer medication and provide other forms of support as needed
- A passion for working with people with disabilities and a commitment to supporting their independence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide support to colleagues
- Willingness to learn new skills and undertake ongoing training
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and other relevant qualifications
