
Front Office Experience Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team. As the face of our hotel, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences from day one.
Your primary objective will be to manage all aspects of front office operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and creating a warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
- Developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for front office activities, including guest check-in/check-out, room allocation, and handling inquiries.
- Hiring and training front office staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Overseeing technology setup, including property management systems, point-of-sale systems, and other software necessary for smooth operations.
- Contribute to strategies enhancing the guest experience, from arrival to departure.
- Coordinating with departments to ensure sufficient inventory of essential items, liaising with suppliers and vendors as needed.
- Manage staffing needs, plan work assignments, establish performance goals, and provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to team members.
- Liaise between front office and other departments to ensure seamless coordination during the pre-opening phase.
- Conduct trial stays and testing to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Hotel Management or Business Administration.
- Three years of guest service/hotel experience with at least two years in a management capacity.
- Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills and passion for developing your team.
- Strategic thinking and an open mind to drive the hotel forward.
- Full working rights in Australia without restrictions.
