
Senior Front Office Director

This is a senior management position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the front office.
About This Role- Main Responsibilities:
- Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for front office staff, including guest check-in/check-out processes, room allocation, handling inquiries, and managing reservations.
- Hire, train, and develop front office team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
- Oversee the setup and integration of technology such as property management systems (PMS), point-of-sale (POS) systems, and other software essential for smooth operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the guest experience from check-in to check-out and all services in between.
- Manage staffing needs, plan work assignments, and establish performance goals for team members. Provide regular feedback, mentoring, and coaching.
- Act as liaison between front office and other hotel departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication during pre-opening activities.
- Conduct trial stays/mock operations to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop promotional materials, packages, and campaigns to attract guests and promote loyalty programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with property management systems, POS systems, and other relevant software.
