Job Title: Paediatric Care Coordinator
Job Description:We are seeking a skilled Paediatric Care Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing expert paediatric complex care clinical consultancy across the Mid North Coast Local Health District.
The ideal candidate will have a current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, at least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience and post graduate qualifications or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate.
You will need to demonstrate abilities in culturally competent health care and an understanding of Aboriginal Health, with specific reference to cultural safety and understanding of the clinical and social needs of families with infants and children who have chronic and complex health needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- At least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience and post graduate qualifications or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate
- Demonstrated abilities in culturally competent health care
- Understanding of Aboriginal Health and cultural safety
- Promote patient safety and quality improvements
- Participate in practices that promote the best possible health outcomes for patients/clients
- Work collaboratively with clients, carers, the multidisciplinary team and services across the continuum
- This is a District based role working in either of our Coffs Harbour or Port Macquarie Corporate Offices
- A valid driver's license and ability to travel for work purposes is a must
