Paediatric Medical Officer Job Opportunity

This large regional hospital has a high demand for medical specialists in the field of Paediatrics. Our paediatric service is rapidly growing and expanding to cater to the needs of our community.

We are seeking an experienced Junior Medical Officer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of specialist medical services, including critical care, surgery, mental health, and outreach services to the surrounding countryside.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Paediatrics and excellent communication skills. They will work closely with our experienced team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Job Description:

  • Provide specialist medical services to patients in the Paediatrics department
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct research and participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supervise junior staff members and students as required

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the relevant medical board
  • Advanced training in Paediatrics or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
