About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the implementation of quoted funds/ETF operations for the State Street Transfer Agency team in Australia. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management of staff and the execution of departmental strategy. This role requires a high level of accountability for results in the areas of employee, strategy, and cost.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead the implementation of quoted funds/ETF operations
  • Drive operational efficiencies and strive for best-in-class performance
  • Facilitate staff training and development, including conducting effective performance reviews
  • Manage client relationships, both from a strategic and BAU escalation perspective
  • Manage deliverables, ensuring all operational registry and reporting deliverables are met within the agreed SLA
  • Manage third-party vendors as required

Requirements:

  • End-to-end understanding of quoted funds and ETF registry operations
  • Ability to establish and lead implementation of quoted funds/ETF operations
  • Ability to drive operational efficiencies and strive for best-in-class performance
  • Facilitate staff training and development, including conducting effective performance reviews
  • Management of client relationships, both from a strategic and BAU escalation perspective
  • Management of deliverables, ensuring all operational registry and reporting deliverables are met within the agreed SLA
  • Ability to manage third-party vendors as required
