About the Role:
A business advisory firm, renowned for delivering exceptional services to clients across Australia, is currently seeking an experienced Accountant to serve as Manager for its growing Business Services Division in Sydney. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and develop a unique blend of taxation, management accounting, and professional services skills.

Responsibilities:
• Preparing financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT, or payroll tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts.
• Utilizing a range of accounting software, including Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks, to deliver high-quality services to clients.
• Providing tax planning and business advisory services to clients, including analyzing financial and non-financial information to assist them in monitoring performance.
• Developing strong relationships with clients and seeking to further these relationships through quality product delivery.
• Recognizing potential additional work opportunities among current clients and actively promoting the firm and its services to both clients and associates.
• Managing the team's training and mentoring, with responsibilities to help grow the team's knowledge and contribute to the business as a whole.
• Coordinating with other experts engaged in the project, managing multi-jurisdiction teams, and delivering high-quality results.

Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience within Business Services, with strong technical skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a similar field, completed CA/CPA qualifications.
• A solid understanding of accounting standards and reporting responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Expertise using accounting software, including APS, MYOB, and cloud-based tools, such as Xero and QuickBooks.
• Hold work rights, Australian Citizenship, or Permanent Residency status in Australia.
