Job Overview

The Maintenance Team Leader will oversee the mechanical and electrical maintenance teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient performance of our facilities.

This role will drive maintenance strategies, oversee preventative programs, manage contractors, and champion asset reliability improvement to minimize downtime.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure plant and infrastructure performance.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Mentor and develop maintenance team members, fostering skill growth and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align maintenance with business goals.

Requirements
  • 5–10 years' experience in a similar maintenance leadership role, ideally in a 24/7 manufacturing or mining environment.
  • Degree in electrical engineering or a relevant electrical trade qualification with industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of work management systems and experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships across all levels.
