12-Month Graduate Program

  • We are seeking an Aboriginal graduate to join our team and work cooperatively within a direct service delivery rotational employment program.
  • This role provides opportunity to explore different program areas, apply knowledge gained through education in a practical work environment, and develop client-facing casework skills by shadowing casework staff across a range of programs.
  • The position includes a structured rotation across our direct program service areas, incorporating training, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
  • You will have the chance to gain hands-on experience across various services, enhance your understanding of the various roles and community service work that fundamentally shape the Aboriginal Community Service sector.
  • A dedicated graduate team will offer effective supervision and cultural mentorship, while you also participate in an organized orientation program, additional learning development networks, and weekly professional development sessions.
  • Career progression and ongoing job prospects are outlined, and upon successful completion of the program, we are committed to providing continued job opportunities for graduates.
">About You>
  • We are looking for someone who is Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
  • You should have completed a qualification in the Social and Community Services area of study within the last 24 months.
  • A current COVID-19 vaccination (including booster dose, as applicable), a Working with Children's Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain), and a Victorian Driver Licence are requirements of this role.
  • This is an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander designated position, classified under Section 12 Special Measures of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010.
