We are seeking a dedicated and motivated professional to join our team as a Graduate Support Specialist. The successful applicant will be part of a 12-month rotational employment program, providing opportunities to gain hands-on experience across various services and enhance their understanding of the community service sector.

About the Role

  • This role includes a 12-month rotational employment program with structured rotations across direct program service areas.
  • Candidates will have the chance to gain experience in multiple services and develop their skills and knowledge in community service work.
  • A dedicated graduate team will provide effective supervision and cultural mentorship throughout the program.
  • The program includes an organised orientation and additional learning development networks, weekly professional development sessions, and opportunities for career progression and ongoing job prospects.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
  • They should have completed a qualification in the Social and Community Services area within the last 24 months or started a new role within the last 12 months.
  • Ability to engage vulnerable children, young people, their families, and carers in outreach work activities.
  • Current COVID-19 vaccination (including booster dose), a Working with Children's Check, and a Victorian Driver Licence are required.
