Job Description
We are seeking an Aboriginal Employment Specialist to join our Recruitment Services Team.
This role requires a deep understanding of the Victorian Aboriginal Community, including its society and culture, and the issues impacting it.
A strong ability to communicate effectively with members of the Victorian Aboriginal Community is essential.
The successful candidate will have experience in managing the end-to-end recruitment process, with a diverse stakeholder group to meet operational demand and deliver consistent and quality recruitment service in an Aboriginal employment context.
They will also have recruitment business partnering experience to meet operational demands.
This role will contribute specialist advice to regional stakeholders at all levels on Aboriginal cultural issues, employment-related policies, and legislation that impact on the Victorian Aboriginal community.
The successful candidate will be accountable for effectively partnering with regional stakeholders to deliver end-to-end or part services recruitment support and supports end-to-end Aboriginal recruitment of business-critical roles across Aboriginal Justice portfolio, Campaign Recruitment - Corrections Victoria, Youth Justice, and Talent Delivery portfolio.
About You
You will have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Victorian Aboriginal Community, both society and culture.
You will have strong communication skills to interact with members of the Victorian Aboriginal Community.
You will have end-to-end recruitment experience in an Aboriginal employment context.
You will have recruitment business partnering experience.
This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, working with hiring managers across the department to understand their recruitment needs, and ensuring target hires are achieved within the talent delivery team and campaigns portfolios for all prioritised, identified, designated, and un-identified roles across the department.
