Research Services Coordinator

This role is responsible for supporting the operations of the RMIT University Library's open access research repository, including assisting in the implementation of strategies for effective management and stewardship of RMIT published research output.
To be successful in this position, you'll have:
- Demonstrated understanding of research practices and processes in an academic environment and of trends and issues in scholarly publishing and the management of research information and outputs.
- The ability to provide support to researchers related to scholarly publishing, open access, and the management of research information and outputs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with and make presentations to researchers in an academic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a project-based environment, with the ability to initiate, develop, and negotiate effective relationships with clients, including academics and students.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of research practices and processes in an academic environment, as well as experience in scholarly publishing and the management of research information and outputs.
About the Portfolio:
The Education Portfolio is responsible for services to support the quality of RMIT programs, including the professional development of academic staff, continuous improvement of the learner experience, learning and teaching outcomes, and the management of learning and research information sources.
