About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Concrete Production Specialist at our Concrete Plant in Orange, NSW.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operation of a concrete batch plant, ensuring efficient and safe production processes.
  • Operate a front-end loader (FEL) and other equipment as required, with training provided.
  • Interact with customers, take orders, and schedule deliveries, providing excellent customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with a high-performing team to deliver positive outcomes for Hanson and our customers.
  • Demonstrate safety awareness and show potential for coaching and mentoring.
  • Ensure all products meet strict quality requirements.
  • Monitor plant and equipment, schedule maintenance, and conduct repairs as needed.
  • Manage maintenance and production tasks, including manual handling.
  • Deliver concrete to customers, requiring a HR licence.
Requirements
  • Loader ticket and experience preferred, but we can train the right person.
  • HR licence preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work a Saturday roster and reasonable overtime.
  • Ability to obtain a Construction Card/White Card.
  • Physical ability to perform all tasks associated with the position.
