About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Concrete Batcher to join our team at Hanson Australia. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of a concrete batch plant, ensuring high-quality products, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain concrete batch plant equipment, ensuring efficient and safe production processes.
  • Monitor and control production processes to meet quality and quantity targets.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth plant operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in concrete production.
  • Strong understanding of concrete production processes and quality control procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift 25kg and work at heights.
  • Current HR licence and Loader ticket (or willingness to obtain).
