We are looking for a skilled Defence Project Management Leader to join our team and contribute to exciting growth across the country.

Job Description

This is an opportunity to manage defence projects, enhance capabilities, and deliver real-world solutions. You will be responsible for planning, control, and reporting of projects, as well as managing project risks and issues.

  • Ensure all project goals are achieved and customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Maintain and improve customer/client satisfaction.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated skills in financial cost control utilising earned value principle.
  • Proven understanding of the defence environment with a minimum of 8 years in Project Management and/or engineering on Defence sustainment support projects.
  • Proven high standard of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearance.

About the Role

The Defence Project Management Leader will be embedded within the Change Team, managing projects to enhance the capabilities of Defence's F/A-18 Super Hornet and EA-18 Growler Fleet.
