The role:

An exciting opportunity exists for a Project Management Office Lead within our Air Combat and Electronic Attack (ACEA) Program team at RAAF Amberley. Embedded within the Change Team - your mission will be to manage projects to enhance the capabilities of Defence's F/A-18 Super Hornet and EA-18 Growler Fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

Embodied in this role is the responsibility and accountability for ensuring that all project goals are achieved, all customer expectations are met or exceeded.
Responsible for maintaining and improving customer/client satisfaction.
Responsible for planning, control and reporting of projects.
Project risk and issue management.
Coordination of project deliverables as per requirements.
Provide key communication and stakeholder management for assigned projects.

The person:

Tertiary Qualification in Project Management or equivalent
Demonstrated skills in financial cost control utilising earned value principle
Proven understanding of the defence environment - with a minimum of 8 years in Project Management and / or engineering on Defence sustainment support projects
Proven high standard of written and verbal communication skills
Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearance
Proven in-depth experience mentoring multidisciplinary teams, to include organising, prioritising, and scheduling work assignments.
