Job Overview

The Business Resilience Leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring the long-term viability and sustainability of our organization's commercial operations.

This position supports senior leaders in proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact commercial performance. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and lead strategic initiatives to drive sustainable growth.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a business resilience framework that aligns with our organization's commercial strategy and supports sustainable growth.
  • Represent the Commercial Function as a key thought leader, staying informed about market trends and advising on strategic risks and resilience themes that impact commercial performance.
  • First Line Risk Oversight and Leadership: Collaborate with business teams to identify, assess, and manage risks across all dimensions of business resilience, including operational, service delivery, governance, continuity planning, and customer impact.
  • Optimisation and Change Enablement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve systems, controls, and operating models to strengthen resilience and drive commercial efficiency.
  • Business Governance and Reporting: Lead the design and operation of business resilience governance forums, ensuring clear oversight of key obligations, decisions, and issues at both the Health Services and service line level.
  • Leadership and Culture: Foster a culture of transparency, integrity, and evidence-based decision making across the organization.

Requirements:

  • A seasoned professional with extensive experience in resilience, risk, legal, or governance roles within a large organization.
  • Experience in healthcare, financial services, or other highly regulated sectors.
  • Strong commercial and risk acumen, strategic thinking, and a demonstrated ability to operate at a senior level across complex environments.
  • Outstanding leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate, influence, and lead cross-functional teams.
