Key Roles and Responsibilities:

The Business Resilience Coordinator is a pivotal role that requires planning, leadership, and emergency management expertise to shape a safer and more resilient future for our communities.

This critical position involves leading the charge in emergency response, disaster recovery, business continuity, and fire safety across the dynamic regional health network. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance and training, driving preparedness, and ensuring consistent and high-quality practices across all sites.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supporting Business Continuity Planning across the LHN.
  • Delivering training and exercises in emergency preparedness.
  • Providing expert advice in fire safety and emergency response.
  • Ensuring alignment with SA Health's PPRR framework.
  • Conducting audits, evaluating risks, and driving system improvements.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in emergency management, strong leadership and influencing skills, excellent communication skills, exceptional organisational skills, sound judgement and analytical thinking, and a commitment to quality improvement, continuous learning, and cultural safety.
