Electrical and Communications Installation and Service Contracting Role

Brisbane, QLD: Stowe Australia is a leading electrical and communications installation and service contractor with a pre-eminent industry reputation for performance, quality, and reliability.

We are seeking a proactive and committed Account Manager to cultivate long-term relationships with clients, oversee various minor projects, and ensure the delivery of electrical and communication services in Brisbane CBD.

About the Position:

This role involves managing client needs, delivering projects on time and within budget, and upholding high standards to enhance profitability and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be able to identify opportunities for account growth and generate new business within existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and ensure their needs are met.
  • Ensure strict adherence to HSEQ standards to maintain safety and compliance on all project and service sites.
  • Manage financial reports and oversee monthly client invoicing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and generate new business within existing accounts.
  • Lead and coordinate project and service teams to maximise efficiency and performance.
  • Understand client needs and objectives and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on account status and performance.
  • Estimate and tender on project and service work, ensuring competitive and accurate proposals.
  • Resolve client issues and handle complaints in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions.
Requirements:

To succeed in this position, you will require:

  • A minimum of 5 years post-trade electrical experience.
  • Certificate IV in Project Management or Leadership and Management (or equivalent would be an advantage).
  • Current Unrestricted Electrical Licence.
  • Cablers License (Preferred).
  • CPR & LV Rescue Certificate.
  • Construction Industry General Safety Induction.
  • Current Manual Drivers Licence.
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, Sales Representative, or a similar role.
  • Previous experience in job estimating and quoting.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook) and familiarity with simPRO is considered a plus.
