Asset Officer Role Summary

As a key member of the Facilities and Asset Management Directorate, you will be responsible for providing technical advice and support to staff and external stakeholders on built assets and infrastructure.

  • Provision of technical expertise to inform asset management strategies and planning.
  • Support for contract management and procurement activities, including tender evaluation and negotiation.
  • Delivery of ad-hoc technical inspections using established contractor panels.
  • Coordination of review and creation of asset management documentation.
Key Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, with experience working effectively with Excel or other data analysis tools. They will also possess demonstrated ability to develop business reports based on stakeholder requirements, as well as previous experience writing tenders and participating in tender evaluation committees.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience writing tenders and participating in tender evaluation committees (highly desirable).
  • Sound skills in working through ambiguous problems and communicating solutions to senior stakeholders.
