Warehouse Coordinator Role Summary

The primary responsibility of this role is to effectively manage and coordinate warehouse operations. This involves handling customer sales orders, loan orders, exports, and inter-branch transfers from warehouse stock. Ensuring relevant stock-related transactions are processed accurately in the SAP system is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Picking customer sales orders, loan orders, exports, and inter-branch transfers from warehouse stock with minimal supervision">
  • Ensuring timely dispatch of all outbound deliveries, appropriately packed with consignment notes accurately filled in, and ensuring all relevant documentation is included with each delivery">
  • Using and maintaining a computerized consignment system set up by the respective freight carrier, as well as maintaining hard copy filing of consignment notes and maintenance of the outbound delivery register">
  • Tracking and tracing outbound and inbound deliveries with the relevant carriers to ensure on-time delivery to customers, proactively escalating procedures when there are failed deliveries">
  • Receiving and checking inward deliveries into the warehouse, forwarding all delivery paperwork to the appropriate department, and noting any anomalies or damages">

Requirements:

  • Warehousing experience">
  • Sound computer knowledge and Microsoft Office experience">
  • SAP experience would be highly advantageous">
  • Ability to work independently and systematically, taking pride in accurate and efficient warehouse operations">
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) for effective collaboration across various teams within the organization">
  • Physical ability to handle an amount of physical work, including lifting boxes etc.">
