We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Principal Policy Officer.

This key leadership role is part of our Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Policy Team. As a Principal Policy Officer, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver priority AOD projects and initiatives.

  • You will lead the development and implementation of policy initiatives that meet government objectives within set parameters.
  • You will provide authoritative advice and innovative solutions to complex issues based on comprehensive research.
  • You will maintain an excellent understanding of AOD issues impacting the health service sector and Commonwealth and State legislative and policy directions.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with enthusiasm for improved service delivery and supports for people living with substance use or addiction issues.

Key Responsibilities:
