This role is part of the Credit Risk Collection Strategy team, responsible for leading sustainable growth across Australia and New Zealand.
The key objective is to contribute to the Money business by providing insights, analysis, and recommendations to support and develop Collection Strategy activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Acting as a key contributor within the Money Credit Risk team, ensuring high-quality, comprehensive, and actionable insights that support business goals.
- Undertaking analysis and monitoring to determine the impact of portfolio strategy changes in the areas of collection strategy and debt recovery for Personal Loans and Motor Loans portfolio, identifying potential strategy improvements to drive profitable growth.
- Providing regular portfolio analysis and reviews on key risk metrics to assess Portfolio performance vs. business targets.
- Identifying emerging trends and communicating insights clearly and effectively to the business.
- Fostering collaboration with Collection Operations and Hardship teams, supporting key collection projects via analytics, business case input, and execution of credit risk strategy changes.
- Driving cross-functional collaboration to close out issues promptly in the event of operational risk events.
- Assisting with scorecard/model development, implementation, testing, and monitoring.
To succeed, you will need experience in Credit Risk Management, a tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, Data Science, or a related field, and technical proficiency in tools like Excel or Power BI, and coding with SAS or SQL.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills, excellent attention to detail, effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and a focus on maintaining accuracy while working under pressure to meet deadlines are also required.
