Store Person Job Summary

We are seeking a Store Person to join our team at New Hope Group. This is a full-time, permanent position based on site at the Port of Brisbane.

  • Receiving incoming stock and dispatching outgoing items
  • Managing outstanding purchase orders
  • Maintaining records in computer-based stores and purchasing systems
  • Undertaking stock takes, audits, and checks
  • Maintaining a high level of housekeeping within the store and store yard areas
  • Implementing improvement initiatives in procedures

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, supervising warehouse personnel, and coordinating logistics with other departments.

Requirements include:

  • Current C Class Driver's Licence
  • Current Forklift Operator Ticket
  • Previous experience in a store environment preferred
  • Manual handling skills and experience
  • Experience in computer operation and working knowledge of computer-based stores and purchasing systems
