Due to an increase in workload & distribution channels, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our team at our Rocklea Distribution Centre. You'll be responsible for managing stock levels, ensuring FIFO is adhered to, receiving and checking incoming stock and leading a small team.

Key Responsibilities:


• Maintain accurate stock counts through regular inventory checks and audit


• Ensure proper stock rotation to minimise waste and maintain product quality


• Oversee and participate in replenishment and stock receipt activities


• Ensure all incoming stock is checked, recorded, and stored correctly


• Support purchasing and inventory control processes to ensure optimal stock levels


• Lead by example and coordinate day-to-day activities of the stock team


• Use inventory management software and systems to track stock movement


• Identify and resolve stock discrepancies and report any issues promptly

The Ideal Candidate:


• Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, in food services


• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team


• Understanding of purchasing and inventory control


• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills


• Computer literate with experience using a WMS & RF Scanners


• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
