Job Opportunity: Storeperson

Work with a Leader in Consumable Products Distribution

As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for maintaining high inventory accuracy levels through cyclic counting and investigation.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Maintaining inventory accuracy and investigating discrepancies.
  • Assisting with stock pick details, put-away, replenishment rules and packaging details for new products.
  • Ensuring FIFO, batch and expiration control information is correct and maintained.
  • Overseeing warehouse replenishment activities while reviewing and implementing efficient allocation of Pick Faces for all Class, A, B, C products and actively participating in warehouse inventory layout and optimisation.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with Inventory Control, cyclic stock counts, stocktake preparation and functions.
  • Experience with Stock Rotation, Batch Control, Product expiration.
  • Previous experience in FMCG/ Consumer Goods warehouse.
  • Valid LF Forklift Licence.
  • Highly developed attention to details.
  • Detailed understanding of warehouse functions.
  • Ability to work autonomously & part of a team.
