About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Strategist to join our team at the Australian Taxation Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the provision of specialist advice on administered revenues, expenses, and compliance costs.
  • Undertake forecasting and prepare taxation data and statistics for publication in parliamentary or other briefings.
  • Identify and analyze potential risks and opportunities.
  • Work closely with broader ATO and engage with external tax policy researchers.
  • Build team capability.

Requirements:

  • Extensive understanding of the legislation and policy costing process.
  • Knowledge of revenue analysis techniques.
  • Understanding of departmental and compliance cost assessments.
  • Strong analytical and data extraction skills.
  • Skilled leader who guides and mentors staff.
