Support Workers play a vital role in assisting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and live independently.Job Description

Making a positive impact on people's lives is at the core of our mission. As an NDIS Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support to clients in accordance with their NDIS plans, which may include:

  • Assisting clients with daily living activities such as eating, dressing, bathing, and grooming
  • Providing transportation assistance to clients
  • Offering respite care to clients and their families
  • Maintaining accurate records of clients' care plans and progress
  • Communicating effectively with clients, their families, and other members of the care team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and qualifications, including:

  • A minimum of high school or equivalent qualification
  • At least 1 year of experience working with people with disabilities
  • A strong understanding of the NDIS and its guidelines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse client base, understanding different support needs based on abilities, cultural backgrounds, and language requirements
