We are seeking skilled professionals to fill a Disability Support Worker position in Mackay. This role offers the opportunity to work with individuals with disabilities and support them in achieving their goals.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) and be able to provide support and care to clients in various settings, including community hubs and in-home environments.
- Responsibilities will include:
- Providing individualized support to clients with complex needs;
- Developing and implementing personalized plans to promote independence and well-being;
- Assisting with daily living tasks and providing emotional support;
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery;
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability);
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends;
- Capacity to meet physical requirements of the role;
- Hold or be willing to obtain necessary certifications and clearances.
