Our mission is to deliver high-quality support to clients and their systems. As a Sustainment Lead, you will work on a cutting-edge simulator that enhances training for military personnel. You will perform meaningful tasks where your efforts are valued in an environment that enables growth.

We aim to provide ongoing assistance to system owners and operators. This includes delivering contracted engineering services to meet project requirements in terms of schedule, budget, and operational needs.

The Tower Visual Simulator Suite (TVSS) Sustainment Lead is responsible for supporting the Project Manager with the technical scope of the TVSS platform. You will collaborate directly with the TVSS subcontractor and broader project team to ensure contracted services are delivered as per project performance expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solving Engineering Issues: Designing and developing solutions to a range of engineering situations, problems, and issues within the scope of the Consolidated Contract.
  • Configuration Control: Leading Configuration Control Board reviews with stakeholders, addressing issues, actions, and questions as required through to the delivery of the technical solution.
  • Lifecyle Management: Dealing with issues emerging from all product lifecycle stages.
  • Technical Review: Independently reviewing peers' work as required, identifying technical risks and unknowns, and supporting planning activities.
  • Support Services: Providing support for customer reporting, updating partner portals, attending customer teleconferences, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in software, electrical, electronic, or mechatronic engineering.
  • Technical project management skills.
  • Experience with software and its operation.
  • Demonstrated team leadership experience.
  • A good understanding of engineering processes, lifecycles, methods, tools, and infrastructure.
  • A good understanding of 'Best Practice' engineering processes, methods, and tools.
  • Ability to lead small to medium-sized multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated good communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with employees and customers at all levels.
  • Proven ability to function confidently within a project team environment.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation with a proactive approach to progressing assigned tasks and solving problems.
