About this Role:

We are seeking an Environmental Sustainability Expert to lead our efforts in sustainability strategies for construction projects in NSW and the ACT.

This role will focus on guiding project teams towards environmentally friendly solutions, supporting our company's goal to be a leader in sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sustainable practices for construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify opportunities for environmental improvement.
  • Provide training and support to ensure team members have the necessary skills to adopt sustainable practices.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in a sustainability role within the construction and property industry.
  • A degree in construction, engineering, environmental science, property, sustainable development or equivalent.
  • Experience with building ratings, certifications, and benchmarks such as Green Star, NatHERs, BASIX, WELL Building Standard and NABERS.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence and think strategically, communicate with diverse groups of stakeholders, and relevant authorities.
