About the RoleAs a Retail Customer Service Officer, you will be integral in assisting Australians with their business needs, ensuring connectivity and fostering community resilience. Our retail teams are dedicated to delivering outstanding service to approximately one million customers who visit our Post Offices annually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute customer sales and service transactions efficiently.
- Handle high-value transactions with precision, including cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS.
- Conduct identity services transactions, such as Australian Passport Interviews.
- Promote products and services through effective merchandising and promotional activities.
- Assist customers with mail lodgements and related costs.
- Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs.
- Support administrative tasks, including stocktaking and record maintenance.
The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. You are dedicated to putting the customer first and making a meaningful impact in the community. Additionally, you should possess:
- Experience in customer service and/or cash handling.
- The physical capability to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for extended periods.
