Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of ANZ Field & ABM Marketing Manager. This role requires someone with exceptional experience in managing and running field marketing within Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for building the brand within ANZ, developing quality leads and pipeline for our sales team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing the ANZ field & ABM marketing strategy, budget and plans.
  • Working closely with the local sales team and A/NZ country manager to co-create the field marketing strategy and events.
  • Management of all events from start to finish including follow up activities. Types of events include seminars, trade shows, webinars, executive round tables. These can range from 10 - 2,500+ attendees.
  • Defining the goals of each program component, managing the budget and timeline, and handling a variety of vendor and venue partners to ensure all key people are working together to deliver a high-quality experience.
  • Utilising extraordinary communication skills to lead leadership reviews and post-event debriefs.
  • Leading Account Based Marketing in ANZ, understanding top target accounts with sales and developing personalised assets and campaigns to target these accounts.
  • Working closely with the rapidly growing APJ marketing team members - digital, marketing automation, campaigns and content roles to provide strategic guidance to all channels of marketing.
  • Developing a strong relationship with the local sales team to ensure there is strong engagement of them at events.
  • Working closely with the local sales and customer success team to understand which customers of ours are happy to participate in marketing activities - speaking at events, press releases and case studies.
  • Analysing A/NZ field marketing results and optimising to increase engagement, lead quality, conversion rates, program performance and the effectiveness of marketing spend.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in a marketing or agency role with a proven track record of commercial results or as a field marketing manager, with ownership of a country marketing number.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding, experience and passion of events (online and offline), demand generation and revenue attribution.
  • Ability to manage time, juggle multiple priorities to execute high-quality deliverables.
  • Skilled negotiator with proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less and track record of staying on budget.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organisation.
