
Disability Inclusion Reform Lead

The Department of Education is responsible for supporting Victorians to build prosperous, socially engaged, happy, and healthy lives through lifelong learning and development.
The Inclusive Education Division plays a key role in achieving the Education State Agenda by ensuring all students have access to quality education regardless of their background or circumstances.
This includes implementing policies and programs to improve educational and wellbeing outcomes for children and young people with disability and additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead efforts to implement inclusive education reforms and enhance service delivery.
- Develop and deliver strategic initiatives, policies, and strategies related to disability inclusion implementation in government schools.
- Oversee programs of work and manage a multi-disciplinary team delivering a varied work program that embeds Disability Inclusion reform.
Requirements:
- Excellent leadership, policy, program management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to engage with senior staff, school principals, and service providers.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and partnership skills to work effectively with other divisional managers.
The ideal candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent experience.
