Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Compensation Claims Specialist to play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating workers compensation claims.

About the Role:
  • Manage lodgement and ongoing administration of workers compensation claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Maintain information systems required for efficient claims management, utilizing expertise in complex payroll operations and relevant software applications.
  • Collaborate with the Workers Compensation Claims Manager and team to support injury management and improve outcomes, leveraging strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lodge and manage workers compensation claims from initiation through to finalization.
  2. Administer claims data and maintain accurate records, adhering to current NSW workers compensation legislative requirements.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service to workers, managers, and other stakeholders, responding to queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  4. Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient claim processing.
Requirements:
  • Experience in complex payroll operations, including calculation of pays and utilization of Solvlnjury, Stafflink, HealthRoster, and IMS+ systems.
  • Knowledge and experience applying current NSW workers compensation legislative requirements for claims management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.

This is a temporary full-time position based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. The salary range is $79,681 - $84,282 per annum, plus annual leave loading and Superannuation.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. They will also have knowledge and experience applying current NSW workers compensation legislative requirements.
