Overview

Embedded Expertise is seeking a reliability expert to join our dedicated team focused on ensuring the efficiency and sustainability of critical structural assets within the water industry. Our team delivers solutions that enhance quality and reliability in various structural assets, including pump stations and dams.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced reliability engineer with a strong background in assessing and improving the reliability of critical infrastructure assets. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing effective reliability improvement plans, conducting root cause analyses, and providing technical guidance to maintenance and operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough reliability assessments and analyses of water infrastructure assets to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive reliability improvement plans and strategies to enhance asset performance and extend lifespan.
  • Perform detailed root cause analyses of failures and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate reliability considerations into project designs and operations.
  • Monitor and report on the performance and reliability of water infrastructure assets, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance and operations teams to ensure optimal asset performance.
  • Participate in the development and review of maintenance strategies and procedures, ensuring they align with industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in reliability engineering, preferably within the water industry or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of reliability engineering principles and methodologies, including data analysis and modeling.
  • Experience with reliability analysis tools and software, such as RCM or FMEA.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to water infrastructure, including ASME and API standards.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Embedded Expertise offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
