Job Description

The Role is to oversee leasing operations, negotiating new store leases and renewals while meeting financial goals and mitigating commercial risk. This involves leading a team to deliver leasing outcomes, maintaining strong networks within the retail and leasing market, and staying up-to-date on market conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Attend bi-annual leasing strategy workshops and landlord portfolio reviews to set store-by-store strategy for upcoming renewals
- Lead fortnightly brand real estate strategy meetings to review commercials for new stores and renewals
- Highlight renewal risks and develop strategies by centre to maximize commercial outcomes
- Document and share market rental data and shopping centre movements to support strategy for upcoming renewals
- Oversee negotiations for all retail store leases in accordance with the approved Real Estate Strategy
- Develop business case proposals for new stores and renewals ensuring key commercial and brand hurdles are met
- Partner closely with the Store Design & Development team for commercial outcomes while improving processes and efficiencies
- Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages learning and growth
