Lead Sales Strategy and Drive Growth

As a Sales Director for the APAC region at D'Arcy Weil, you will be responsible for leading the sales strategy and driving growth for our battery energy storage systems (BESS) business. This role involves managing a high-performing sales team, expanding market presence, and developing key client relationships across Asia-Pacific.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for the APAC region, targeting BESS market growth.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, driving performance and achieving sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and close major contracts, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer requirements.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and engineering, to align sales strategies with product offerings.
  • Manage and report on sales performance, providing regular updates and insights to senior management.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, ensuring consistent revenue growth.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance brand visibility and network with key industry players.
  • Ensure compliance with regional regulations and company policies throughout the sales process.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client needs and resolving any issues promptly.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in the BESS or energy storage sector.
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience leading diverse sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of the APAC energy market and BESS technologies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing market opportunities.
  • Experience in managing large-scale contracts and complex sales processes.
  • Ability to travel extensively across the APAC region as required.
