Job Title: Community Engagement Specialist

We're seeking a Community Engagement Specialist to lead our initiatives that enhance the social, cultural, and financial wellbeing of our customers and communities.

About the Role

You'll join a passionate team dedicated to strengthening inclusion, reducing barriers, and fostering meaningful connections with diverse communities. Your focus will be on multiculturalism, contributing to lasting and positive changes that support safe, equitable, and inclusive access to our roads, products, and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead our research program and advisory committee focused on Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities
  • Design and implement strategies and programs that improve accessibility and promote inclusivity
  • Build relationships with CALD communities, leaders, service providers, and key stakeholders
  • Advocate for policies and practices that promote inclusivity across networks
  • Develop frameworks to measure impact and share insights that shape future initiatives
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need strong community engagement and stakeholder relationship skills, proven experience designing and delivering inclusion or equity-focused programs, and a deep understanding of cultural diversity, accessibility, and participatory design approaches. You should also be able to influence and advocate for change with internal and external stakeholders and have excellent communication skills that engage a wide range of audiences.
