This role requires effective collaboration between field crews and Asset Management team to ensure safety concerns are captured, prioritised and addressed.
The successful candidate will lead investigations and implementation of new equipment, materials and work practices that improve safety outcomes; support integration of practical field insights into asset standards, designs and risk assessments;
and strengthen our ability to proactively mitigate safety risks across the distribution network and zone substations.
This position involves approximately 50% time on site and 50% in the office.
About YouTo be successful, you will demonstrate solid industry experience ideally within electrical supply, and distribution network knowledge along with:
- Experience operating in the electrical environment with strong safety focus.
- Strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with field and office-based workers.
- Risk assessment & management techniques.
- Tertiary qualification (Electrical Engineer with Chartered Engineer accreditation desirable).
