Job Title: Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Our organization seeks an experienced Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to promote a culture of safety awareness and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies. Job Description:We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing awareness of health and safety within in-home care environments. As a specialist, you will be responsible for promoting a culture of safety awareness, managing workplace incidents, and maintaining current workplace health and safety policies. Main Responsibilities:
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness throughout the organization
  • Manage workplace incidents, including investigation, reporting, and finalization
  • Maintain current workplace health and safety policies, including COVID-19 mandatory reporting
  • Keep up-to-date with legislative requirements
  • Manage WHS components of meetings, training, and inductions
  • Advise on risk management and coordinate return-to-work programs
 Requirements:The ideal candidate will have qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety or 2+ years of experience in a related field. Additionally, they must possess a client-focused approach with excellent communication skills, a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check, a National Police Check, and proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
