Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Field Technician to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced Test Engineers in a field-based position involving daily travel within the metropolitan area.

After completing our comprehensive training program, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and maintaining tools necessary for examination and testing of road safety enforcement technology equipment and other traffic systems.
  • Ensuring all testing and calibration is carried out safely, professionally and ethically.
  • Assisting the Project Manager Traffic Systems regarding the Traffic Systems division.
  • Implementing Traffic Management to meet all HSE guidelines.
  • Preparing written reports of results, assessments and observations obtained from testing.
  • Maintaining accurate records of time spent testing road safety enforcement technology equipment for laboratory's monthly report and determining testing schedule of fees.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong educational background in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
  • An understanding of measurement and testing techniques related to road safety enforcement technology and test equipment (highly desirable).
  • Strong technical verbal and written skills.
  • Availability to drive and work in the field as required within the metropolitan area.
  • Possession of a current and valid Victorian driver's license.
