About the Role

Spend your days bringing joy and companionship to seniors in our community. As a senior companion, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and create lasting memories with your clients.

  • Befriend and spend quality time with seniors, engaging in activities that bring them happiness and fulfillment.
  • Provide reliable transportation for day trips and appointments, ensuring our clients can stay connected with their communities.
  • Share your passions and interests with seniors, from playing cards to cooking classes, and make a real difference in their lives.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A compassionate and patient approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
  • The ability to undergo a free national police check and NDIS screening check, ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients.
  • Flexibility and availability over a minimum of 3 months, with the option to commit longer if desired.
Preferred Qualifications

We welcome candidates with:

  • A current unrestricted driver's license and registered insured vehicle, making it easier to transport clients on outings.
  • Previous experience driving a minibus, ideal for larger groups and excursions.
  • Barista training, which could be used to host coffee mornings or other social events for clients.
