Wedding Pet Companion

We are seeking a reliable and animal-loving Wedding Pet Companion to join our team. As a vital member of our wedding squad, you will be responsible for ensuring the comfort and safety of our canine clients at various wedding venues across Byron Shire, Tweed Shire, and the South Gold Coast region.

About the Role

You will provide top-notch pet care services, including transportation, overnight stays, and general companionship. Your attention to detail and ability to think on your feet will be essential in managing any unexpected situations that may arise during events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional pet care services, including transportation, overnight stays, and general companionship;
  • Manage the behavior and well-being of dogs of all sizes and temperaments;
  • Communicate effectively with wedding couples and venue staff to ensure seamless event execution;
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for pets and humans alike;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in dog handling or a related field;
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle;
  • Certification in Animal Studies (Cert II or III) or equivalent industry experience;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A positive attitude and ability to work independently.
