Personal Care Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and personable individual to provide personal care and support to ageing adults in their own homes. The successful candidate will have a big heart, patience and a desire to help improve the lives of seniors and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility needs
  • Provide light household duties, such as cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks, ensuring client dietary needs are met
  • Remind clients of medication schedules and assist with administration
  • Transport clients to appointments, shopping and social outings

About You:
  • You are caring, patient, approachable and able to build strong relationships with clients and their families
  • You must be located and willing to travel up to 30 minutes from your home
  • You must have a mobile smartphone and basic navigation skills
  • You must have a valid driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
